Growth & Change Readiness

Know whether the business is ready before you scale the change

I independently assess whether roles, workflows, capacity, systems and external dependencies are ready before a major hire, restructure or technology change adds more complexity.

Avoid scaling today’s problems into tomorrow’s structure

Before you hire, reorganise or roll out another tool, check whether the operating basics are ready

A new hire, department structure or software platform can look sensible on paper and still fail to fix the problem if ownership, workflow and decision rights remain unclear.

A Growth & Change Readiness Review looks across the way the business currently works to identify what needs clarifying before the change lands. The question is not simply whether the change can happen, but whether the organisation is ready to make it stick.

The purpose is not to create a formal gate or more paperwork. It is to expose the few structural gaps that could undermine the change and give leaders a clear priority list before time and money are committed.

What the review considers

Ownership & Accountability

Who owns the outcome, who makes which decisions and where escalation currently defaults to the founder or senior leadership.

Roles & Capacity

Whether responsibilities are realistically distributed, which roles are overloaded and whether the change creates a genuine hiring need or simply exposes a process problem.

External Partner Readiness

Whether agencies, freelancers, vendors or outsourced providers understand their responsibilities and fit cleanly into the changed way of working.

Management Visibility

Whether leaders will have enough useful information to see how the new arrangement is performing without creating another layer of reporting.

Key Dependencies

Where the change still relies too heavily on one person, one system or one external partner and what practical fallback exists.

Adoption & Transition

The communication, training, process clarity, system changes and sequencing needed to move from the current way of working to the new one.

Practical output

A clear readiness position and a short list of what must be fixed first

The review typically produces a priority scorecard, operational friction and gap register, ownership findings, must-do-before-change actions, 30/60/90-day priorities and a concise leadership readout.

The business value is straightforward: better confidence that the change addresses the real problem, fewer avoidable surprises and less risk of spending money only to reproduce the same operational friction in a new form.
