Business Process and Service Design Consultancy

Turn inconsistent ways of working into clear, repeatable business processes

I design practical workflows, responsibilities and hand-offs so the business can deliver consistently without relying on individual memory, constant chasing or founder intervention.

Process design that supports growth

Make the way work should happen clear before adding more people or tools

Business process and service design defines how important work should move from request to outcome, including who owns each step and which systems support it.

I work with the people doing and managing the work to identify what really happens today, where it breaks down and what a simpler, more consistent future workflow should look like.

For a growing SME, the output is deliberately lean: enough structure to create consistency and accountability without producing a process manual that nobody uses.

What the process design can cover

Business Outcome & Requirements

The outcome, customers or internal users, ownership and the practical conditions that define successful delivery.

Roles, Ownership & Escalation

Who does what, who makes which decisions, where work is escalated and how responsibility moves between people or teams.

Workflow & Standard Work

The core steps, inputs, outputs and hand-offs needed to make the workflow repeatable without making it bureaucratic.

Measures & Management Visibility

A small set of useful measures that show whether work is moving, where delays occur and whether the process is achieving the intended business outcome.

Systems & Workflow Visibility

How CRM, project, finance, collaboration and other systems should support the workflow and give managers useful visibility without duplicate reporting.

Capacity & Key Dependencies

Where the process depends too heavily on one person, team, supplier or system and where capacity constraints are likely to create delays.

Access & Information Responsibilities

Who needs access to what information, who owns important records and where uncontrolled sharing or duplicated sources create confusion.

Partner & Supplier Dependencies

The practical responsibilities, hand-offs and escalation needed where agencies, freelancers, SaaS vendors or other external partners are involved.

Change, Training & Adoption

What people need to know, what systems or data need to change and how the new process will be introduced without disrupting normal delivery.

Ownership & Improvement

Who owns the process after the redesign, how issues are reviewed and how the workflow continues to improve rather than drifting back into individual workarounds.

Practical process blueprint

A single coherent view of how the work should flow

The blueprint connects the outcome, workflow, roles, systems and external dependencies in one view. Rather than producing disconnected documents, it shows the team how the pieces fit together and where improvement should start.

Where the business already has useful templates or process conventions, I work with them. Where none exists, I create a proportionate structure that can be reused for future workflows.

Independent process review

Independent challenge before a new way of working is embedded

I can review an existing process design, reorganisation proposal or systems-led change against the reality of how the team works and highlight gaps before they become the next set of workarounds.

The review can focus on one workflow, one department or one problem area, or cover the wider operating design where several teams are involved.

Independent business process and service design consultancy

Need a clearer workflow, ownership model or independent review?

I can map the current reality, design the future workflow and leave the team with clear responsibilities and a practical implementation plan.
